Maybe a faulty 3.5mm stereo socket or socket connection in the amp. Assuming that you are connecting via a stereo audio cable with 3.5mm stereo plug at one or both ends.
Have you tried a different cable to connect from the devices to the amp, to prove the problem is in the amp, you didn't say?
