White screen after repair
I replaced my screen on my iPad. Now it has a white screen only. Still haven't glued my screen down till I fix it but need help. What's wrong with my iPad. Why is it a white screen only but makes sounds and everything?

Was the digitizer glass changed or was the LCD display changed?
Note that the LCD Display from a Mini 1 is not compatible with the Mini 2 and vice versa.
If the display was replaced you can compare both displays old and new replacement side by side you’ll notice that the replacement screen either has a smaller or bigger rectangle metal covers at the bottom area of the screen.

Yes I'm the one who asked this question but forgot my log in info. I don't have the old one and didn't change the LCD screen. I ordered the screen for iPad mini 2 a1490.
Ah that makes sense now.
What happened most likely is that the iPad inner LCD display got damaged when it was pried up as the tape behind it is fairly strong and can get damaged from flexing the screen from under too much.
Most likely the LCD will need to be replaced. Try reseating the screen cables first and also clean the connectors with isopropyl alcohol brushing as it can be a loose connection.
