It stopped working a while ago, I thought I just needed to buy a new battery, so I did, but nothing happened. When I plug it in, the light turns green, and I’ve pressed the reset button a bunch, but the screen never turns on. Please help

Hi, it sounds like there’s definitely a power problem between the battery and the motherboard. If the light turns green immediately when you plug it in, that means it’s not detecting a battery to charge. Does your computer recognize the calculator at all when you plug it in? Are all three battery contacts (in the battery compartment) clean and undamaged?
What were you doing with your calculator right before it stopped working? Have you dropped it or accidentally spilled anything on it?
I’m not really holding out hope, but there’s a chance TI-84 Plus CE Recovery Techniques. may help.

All three battery contacts are fine, I think? And I might have dropped it a few times while it was working, but not from a high height, maybe 1 foot. And before it turned off it was working normally. The computer does not recognize it
If your computer doesn't even recognize it then I'm sorry, I can't help you anymore on the software side and I don't have the hardware experience necessary to tell you how to fix it. :(
You can try to take it apart yourself, perhaps you'll notice something obviously broken. There's a tear down guide here: TI-84 Plus CE Teardown Could you please tell me how old your calculator is? Someone recently posted a similar question and I'm wondering if the problems are related.
I don’t know how old it is, I got it from a family member who got it from a pawn shop
No worries, if you look on the back of the calculator you'll see a date code that's formatted as a letter followed by 4 numbers then (sometimes) another letter. Here's an image to help clarify what I'm talking about, the date code is boxed in red: https://i.imgur.com/1U35TRS.png
The numbers are 0817
