Light Grey's appear White on Laptop screen?

I recently got the ASUS Tuf FX504 laptop for my birthday and have noticed something really off about it. The laptop screen won’t accurately display light greys. Any image with light greys on a white background comes out looking more white than anything else. The best way I can describe it (excuse the crude mspaint circles it was the best I got) is that 1. this image (outside of the greyscale bar) is completely white on my screen, and 2. where the little black arrow is is the first area where I begin to see grey. I’ve messed with the display settings and tried fixing the gamma but it never fixes it. What do I do?
