Just did Battery replacement, but now flashing apple screen
Greetings all. Just did a battery install on my 7+ and now, when I try to start it up, it just flashes the apple logo…but won’t do anything if power isn’t plugged in. Any ideas?

Put the old battery back in and see if it does the same thing. It could be a bad battery. If it still loops with the old battery, it’s likely unrelated to the battery.
It could also be loop disease. The phone will run a self-diagnostic on startup and if it detects something not working (such as the audio IC) it can cause the phone to take a long time to start up or not start at all.

It appears you were right. Pluggin in the old battery, hard restart, and it's working again. I'm going to see about the other battery one more time, and then I guess request a replacement. More soon.

Yep. Just replaced again, and it's back to it's old stuff. I'm going to let it charge for ten minutes and see if that doesn[t help. Otherwise, I guess I'll be carrying a rubber-band-held-together iphone for a few days until a replacement arrives. Thank you again so much!!

You’re welcome. It sucks that it seems you got a bad battery, but with anything, there can be duds. Hopefully the new one works better :-)
