Apple Watch series 2 possible battery leak?
Hey Guys!
I've just bought broken watches. The guy sad that they stopped charging. I thought that the battery is the problem, so I bought them. After opening the device I immidiately noticed green, white or maybe blue type of matter. On first sigh It didn't look like it’s corrosion. Have you ever seen this? Is it battery acid? Any possible ideas how to fix it?
Update (08/26/2019)
As you can see, that greenish matter is only on the battery connector cable, on the plastic cable, so in case of water leak I would expect corrosion on metalic pieces. Secondly, the green matter is only on the spot, where the battery cable touched the device, thats why I think it’s just battery acid, not water. When water leaks into device its characterstic would case leaking and making corrosion all over the whole device. Any tip for cleaning this possibly acid matter?

Likely water damage. The early models did encounter leaks in the gaskets.
If you can see if you can get your money back.

Battery Juice and Corroded Contacts
Electronics Water Damage
To displace any remaining liquid around or under any components of the logic board submerge it completely in a suitably sized container filled with isopropyl alcohol. Ideally use a 90% or higher concentration available from a pharmacist or drug store. You can use distilled or deionized water as an alternative cleaning fluid, although this will take longer to dry. Avoid solvents such as ketone, acetone, or naphtha.
BTW, the use of blanket phrases like " probably a short" or "battery acid" are usually uttered by rascals who have no idea what either term actually means and have not actually done any research to back up their statements.

@propman Thank you man! I am not a native speaker, which shows up in these so called "blanket phrases". I'm building the sentence in my native language which uses these phrases often. That's the reason. The word battery acid I used as a synonym for the battery filling because I have no idea what it's made of.
