It was a water damaged switch, managed to pretty much fix it up, but the battery doesnt charge on itself, it shows the charging icon on dock and handheld, but the battery percentage just keep going down as it doesnt really seems to charge itself.

The charge circuit may well be faulty.
You may have to replace that and the battery just to be safe.

Do you know any specific way of checking what part is wrong, or i just have to change the entire ic?
It is strange becouse the console recognises the charger and show icon like charging, but no actual charge hit the battery.
Also the battery have been charged outside the console with an external charger with no issues, so i dont think it is faulty.

If the battery holds charge outside of the controller, then it probably is the charge circuit in the controller and giving a false reading as this was a water damaged unit.
If you cannot get a replacement charging circuit you will have no choice but to replace the controller.

Having this same issue but my switch isn’t water damaged. The battery has been replaced and have tried 2 different switch chargers. The battery still depleted while on the charger.
