Wireless charging does not work

My wireless charging feature will not work, even though I replaced the charging coil today. I’m not sure it ever worked since I had a thick case on it. Is there a setting in Android 8.0 to turn this feature on??? The older versions of Android have settings to turn this feature on but this later one does not seem to.
