Using 3rd party LCD with its own interpreter board instead of original
Hi
I have found that usually LCD panels come with its own interpreter boards and some of them even have its own backlight. Can I connect the LCD interpreter board to the main MacBook Air logic board via standard apple LVDS cable ? Is it possible? I know that there will be some problems like black screen during boot. But after the macOS loaded completely, everything will work perfectly, right?
Looks like Apple logic boards have a standard LVDS connector. So I can even connect the entire display assembly from a non-apple notebook like Dell or HP. Is it possible?
I really need a good display for work. Not retina one. But sharp enough for my eyes to not get sick.
