Is the screw spinning or not turning at all?
A lot of times it’s the screw spinning, one way to get it out is either use a thin pry tool such as a spudger or suction cup to lift the screen up slightly from the bottom and try taking the screw out.
It can also be the screw posts which have screw holes in them that have broken off from the bottom of the screen which in this case the screen can be removed (note there is quite a bit of adhesive around the edges of the screen making it harder to remove.
