Bluetooth not working after Wifi board replaced:
Hello,
I saw a question for a similar product but it doesn’t appear to have been resolved. I have a mid-2012 13” Unibody Mac that I just replaced the Wifi board on, but the Bluetooth isn’t working. To be fair, the Bluetooth hasn’t work in years but I never used it so it wasn’t a big deal; however, I was hoping that replacing the board (which was having trouble of its own) would fix the Bluetooth.
- Running 10.14.5 Mojave
- The upper left icon says “Bluetooth: Not Available” when clicked on
- About this Mac > System Report > Bluetooth > “No information found”
- System Preferences > Network > Bluetooth PAN > “No Pan Devices Found”
I have tried:
- Resetting the PRAM and NVRAM
- Resetting the SMC
- Complete reinstall of the OS
- Removing the .plist file from the Preferences folder (though of note mine was in a subfolder not mentioned in the troubleshooting guide)
- Resetting personal permissions and restarting the computer
Any thoughts? Any relevant information that I left out? Thanks.
Eric
