The micro usb port was bent and loose and for the cable to fit better I made it flat. But the problem is not fixed, when I plug the charging cable it charges for a second every 5 minutes. The cable works fine for other devices.

Your question is a little hard to understand. I think your saying the cable does not fit snugly into the charge port and it only flashes that it is charging for a couple seconds every once in a while.
It is still a hard question answer without knowing what brand/model tablet your using. If you are referring to a generic android tablet then my advice would be to test the battery before trying to mess with the charge port. Many times these tablets will flash the charging screen and not charge leading you to believe it is a bad connection when it is actually just a bad battery.
Generally these tablets are fairly easy to open and most of the time the battery simply has 2 wires soldered directly to the motherboard. Knowing the exact model would help so you could find the exact opening procedure and what type of battery your looking for. With most generic tablets you will have to find a replacement that matches the values of your original battery. The hard part is finding one that is the same size physically. Usually if they are just a little bit thick it will cause the screen to flicker or become unresponsive because it is putting pressure on the back of the screen assembly.

I didn't specify the model because there is not included in the list (MLS iQTab Shot 3G - MLS is not an international brand). It charges for a couple seconds every once in a while and if I leave it there it is going to be fully charged after 4-5 hours but when I didn't have this issue it would be fully charged in about 2 hours.The battery is fine it works as before.
