Hdmi chip can be replaced on the same board no problem. Should only be need to be done once.
380C is what I recommend for removing the HDMI chip.
To make it easier for removal add leaded solder to all the pins on the old chip for removing. Having some flux on will help with heat transfer.
As non leaded solder has a higher melting point leaded solder will be better as it lowers melting point making chip easy for future removals.
