If this is on a website, some websites don’t play well with the stock keyboard software (or rather, the LG keyboard software doesn’t play well with some websites).
Solution:
Try installing a second, opensource keyboard:
https://search.f-droid.org/?q=keyboard&l...
You can find one here (personally, I use either Hacker’s Keyboard, or else Simple Keyboard).
FDroid is a great alternative to the Google Play Store — it’s highly reputable, has been around for a decade (since the first Android phones came out), and is entirely free & open-source software — 100% legit, no ‘cracks’.
https://search.f-droid.org/?q=keyboard&l...
https://f-droid.org/
You’ll need to allow installing apps from the browser (it will prompt you to go into Settings with a dialogue button), and then you hit Back after toggling “Allow apps from this source”.
If you install the Fdroid store itself (recommended), then you’ll need to allow from there, too.
The FDroid app will take a bit to update all the repositories of software (catalogues) to choose from.
After doing so, hit the green circle with the magnifying glass — in the lower left corner — to Search.
In the searchbar inside FDroid app, type in keyboard
look for Simple Keyboard, tap on it, then tap Install.
You may also want to install the Keyboard Switcher app, to easily switch between different keyboards (if you want to keep using your original keyboard most of the time).
