MacBook won't read SD Card

Hi,

i recently went on holiday and made alot of footage with my GoPro..

Now my macbook pro 2018 doesn’t recognize my SD Card… Maybe its my Card reader but im not sure about that… Cause all the rest still function on it… like 2 USB Ports and and a loading dock….

I do have and older Macbook Pro from 2012 and this one do recognize my SD Card inmediatelly when i insert it in the Macbook Pro…

So what could be wrong i doubt it would be the extension for my SD Card to read it…

The newer MacBook Pro's 2016 thru 2018 don't have SD card readers, so you have to have an older model maybe a 2015? Also what is it's size 13" or 15"?

Can you double check which you have plugging in your S/N here EveryMac - Lookup
