Moving Lines (marching ants)

From left to right I’ve noticed a series of lines roughly spaced 1cm apart across the entire screen. These are not consistent but more like moving pixels that look to be moving from the bottom of the screen to the top, they’re really faint however having noticed them its now something I can’t not see, any ideas? is this a sign of impending death?

Can you take some pics or a short vid and post them here for us to see 在已经存在的问题里加入图片

here you go dan :)

Sorry I don't see the lines, the vid is a bit blurry which could be hiding it.

Take some stills at the highest resolution and you might want to use a stack of books to help steady the iPhone.

OK I see the issue!

Let narrow down possible sources of the issue

First do you see this on other external monitors? If you have an iMac do you see it on the iMac's screen as well? What is your system and the video board?

Are you using a surge suppressor which both the system and the display are plugged in?

Have you altered your systems config in any way?

Does this effect come and go?

I’m starting to think the T-CON board on the backside of the LCD panel has an issue. If you can find a panel which is cracked you should be able to salvage the T-CON board from it. The other option is getting a replacement panel. I’ve seen some listed on eBay for around $250 USD often I see them listed around $500 USD.
