Battery does not retain power
We recently got a 3DS it worked fine to begin with. But in the last day it will work when plugged in, and the battery symbol indicates it is charging. But when we unplug it is only one bar of battery

replace the battery first. This could be simply caused by an old battery that no longer holds a charge. 任天堂3DS电池更换 Since it indicates that it is charging it is unlikely a charging port issue but you will have to check on that later
