Hi @uginel ,

-9 deg F should definitely freeze ice cream as the normal temp for a freezer is approx. 0 deg F.

Is the ice maker producing ice OK?

Is the compressor running continually trying to drive down the temperature to the set temperature? Check first thing in the a.m. if the compressor has stopped (it may not have just the better time to check) as the unit has had all night to get the temp down to the set temp without a door being opened.

Try placing an appropriate thermometer at various places in the freezer to check that the temp shown by the display is correct

Check the door seals of the freezer door to make sure that they're OK.

Place a sheet of paper between the freezer door and the freezer cabinet and try to pull it out when the door is closed. Try this at various points around the door. It should pull out with a bit of effort but not come out too easily or even fall out, which indicates a poor seal
