all electrical went poof

2006 FXDBI …… so I went to start my bike and like any other time turned key ( all normal ) waited for fuel pump and other light to go off ( all normal ) then pushed starter button, starter engaged for half a second then quit, all lights went out and no anything ( horn, blinkers ). Battery checks out ok, no burnt fuses, no loose wires. When I remove the instrument panel fuse the dash lights glow dim ( strange ) but go out when I replace the fuse. Alarm seems to be working but turn indicators don’t blink when turned on or off. Motor is all stock with 15000 miles. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions
