Yellow spot on MacBook Air screen after heating bezel?

I was trying to replace my lvds cable yesterday and I heated the bezel to remove it, however once I turned the computer back on, I was left with a yellow spot where I heated the screen? Anybody know how I could fix this? Thank you!

How hot was your heat gun? It’s probably permanent heat damage. A replacement is going to cost $150-$300 depending on quality, or $379 from iFixit if you don’t trust other vendors.

What do you think may have been damaged?

完成的

The LCD panel itself can be damaged by excessive heat, especially if it's localized like with a heat gun. You'd need to replace the display.

完成的

You cooked the liquid crystal material so its now chemically altered.
