something fell out of my lightning adapter
now my phone wont charge
no cords make contact inside the port

Probably the metal part of the lightning plug (probably an aftermarket one) got stuck inside the lightning port of the phone.
I use fine tweezers to get these out carefully.

so right now its not charging though and wont recognise my earphones or hold the cord
so do you think the lightning plug inside the phone is aftermarket
i got this asa replacement from stay connected just before christmas from telstra
Charging port should be fine, it's usually half of the plug tip of the charging cable got broken inside the charging socket and it will require tweezers to pull them out.
