Display says out of paper, but it is full. I've reloaded it 4 times

hello rick.. i think on all small inkjet printers there is a small switch with a plastic arm_{or a sensor that is on the bottom of the tray.. first determine if the switch is with arm and see if it is broken, misaligned or out of position..} if you do not have a switch _{look for a small sensor in the floor of the tray drawer} the sensor might even be on the top of the area..i hope this helps…. Also take out ink cartridges and pull all plugs to inspect for paper switches or sensors

ps _{if it was working and just quit with paper on the tray (very important) then printer sensor is bad} if the unit has a optical sensor check for paper dust and dirt,, debris

I had the same thing happen. After shutting it down and reseting the thing, I was still getting the message. Finally I checked to see what paper it was expecting. It was expecting film paper, not 8.5x11. I changed the setting on the printer and it loaded the paper.
