Is there a software fix for the head phone jack not working

We got it in July and we may have spilled a small amount of a seltzer water on it but nothing major. How would I reset through Itunes?

put it into DFU mode , power button and home button for 15 seconds. I would say if it happened after the water you might have to replace the jack. water damage is very unpleasant and unpredictable

How long have you had the iPad? any water damage or heavy drops? have you tried resetting it through iTunes?
