Ps4 wont read disc; wont spin and disc drive makes screech noise.

This all started when foolishly placed a soda cup on top of the console. Left it there for a few days and to my ignorant surprise, the soda leaked through onto the console. Noticed this when the ps4 said “unrecognized disc” instead of the game that was inside. So i tinkered around trying to clean up the the inside where the soda was spilled, everything else works except for being able to play physical copy games. I ordered another disc drive thinking that was the problem, but nope it still does the same thing. I noticed the screeching noise happens when the game is trying the read a disc that is inserted, if no disc is inside the ps4 trys to look for a disc to read by moving laser up and down and what not. So now i have to return this extra disc drive i bought since nothing has changed.

TLDR; The main problem i believe is that instead of trying to spin the disc, the disc drive makes a screech noise and replacing it did nothing so it is probably the motherboard.

What should I do? Is there a certain area in the ps4 that isnt the disc drive, that i should try cleaning?
