Replaced Battery in April, now won't charge.

I replaced with a battery ordered here. Had trouble with it not charging at first. did a PRAM and SMC reset and it was working. Now am having same problem again with the addition issue that it won’t even run off the power adapter. Power adapter is green but computer will not turn on. Sometimes it will start but then just shuts off

This is usually caused by liquid damage, you can either take the board out and inspect it carefully under a microscope to look for signs of corrosion (white marks / rust / burn marks) if you have one or take it to a reputable repair shop that does MacBook board repairs.

It will require at least board level repairs done to it if the MacBook doesn't turn on with the battery, battery indicator light, keyboard and trackpad unplugged.

The logic board. Here is a guide for taking out logic board if needed:

Usually signs / hints of where the liquid damage is are shown either on the bottom metal lid cover of the MacBook or the large black backlight cover which is behind the logic board for the key board.

I tested with unplugging keyboard, trackpad and battery and battery indicator. turns on. What is next? having someone inspect the board? Cheers!

Update. I plugged back in everything except the battery and fans and it starts up.

Update 2. Plugged battery back in, reassembled and everything is working so far. Charging battery at 16%. will continue to update
