Battery has been deteriorated since 2014.
I did teared down the devise. ordered battery on Amazone, but it does not fit model 1AYBA4.
Made lots of search, looks like Samsung Mega 6.3 i9200 battery should fit.
Kindly advise if anybody got fixed this issue.

Hello
Having searched the web for the P11PG7-02-NO1AYBA4 battery over many many months I eventually gave up my search. Then I came across a listing that claimed to be a replacement for the aforementioned battery. https://www.amazon.co.uk/3200mAh-Battery... . I was sceptical at first and then I thought why not try it, especially as the battery was keenly priced at £5.85. After a very short delivery time with amazon and disassembling the drive, which any DIYer could do, and inserting the new battery, hey presto, the drive works perfectly. The replacement battery is a 3200mAh 3.8V Battery for Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 i9200 i9205 i9208 (B700BC). I hope this helps.

I ordered the battery from Amazon in the US and it has worked great, a very easy replacement, it just drops into the Seagate Wireless Plus once you get the back cover open. No soldering or glue at all - thank you so much for documenting this!

Does the Seagate wireless work with the battery removed & using an external power source? My battery has expanded & I wonder if I can just use it with an external battery pack instead of soldering in a new battery.

I have disassembled mine, and I can confirm that it does NOT work only via a usb cable. PCB shuts down a few seconds after plugging device into the port.
However the drive which powers device is regular SATA HDD, so it's possible just to plug it into another batery-less enclosure or PC motherboard
I think that there might be an issue with the charging circuit - the Seagate Wireless Plus manual say that you should not leave the drive connected to the charger, only connect it to charge the battery up. and then disconnect it. This means that you have a good battery life but leaving it charging will kill the battery after a year.

The original battery in the 2Tb Wireless pluss is a Samsung p11pg7-02-n01-1ayba4, 3.8V 3150mAh battery with three contacts on the end. All the options when you search for this have a three wire cable. They work but you have to solder the wires into the circuit board - not a trivial task but it does work.
