Google home mini only responds to “hey google” and “okay google”
My google home mini only recognizes the command prompt but only picks up static with the microphone. Here is a recording of what it picks up.

Maybe this is a bug in the software that is installed on the google home. Have you tried to update it to the latest software or firmware?

I believe it is already in the latest software. Because I bought two of them and the other one works fine.
Okay this might sound really dumb but i have to make sure. Is there any chance a fan or AC is blowing into the mic? If that is not the case your best bet is probably to contact google about this, you can reach them via this link: https://support.google.com/googlehome/?h...
