Toro riding mower 440xl
Mower starts, blade will engage, but forward and reverse pedal won't engage. Pedal feels like no tension. With motor off manually manipulate pedals you can see the rod move to disengage brake?? Any help would be appreciated

Find product serial number of tractor (use above link) and then use that to find manuals from the www.toro.com site. Might have some free information you could use to solve this. I expect that the linkage to the hydrostatic transmission from your forward / reverse pedal has come loose or out of adjustment somehow.
