Silent mode fix not working.

Followed instructions to get off silent mode. It is not working. Phone has been on silent for a month. What is my next steps?

Please verify the model number of your Uniden phone as there is a lot of different Uniden Dect 6.0 models and they don't all share the same menus?

Hi @purplerain91 ,

Try resetting the handset.

Here’s a link to the User Guide for a Uniden Dect 1760.

Scroll to p.16 to view the procedure to reset the handset.

If that doesn’t work, try a power reset to restore the phone to its’ default operating condition. (you may have to set it up again, re-register etc.).

To perform a power reset:

Remove the battery from the phone. (take note of the way it is connected)

Press and hold the Talk/Flash button for 10 seconds to drain any residual power from the phone.

Reinsert the battery (ensure that it is connected back the correct way!)

Set up the phone and check if it works OK

Sorry,it didn'twork...silent mode stays on..Cant get any calls.Calls go directly to voicemail

Silent mode only stops the phone from ringing out loud. It doesn't redirect the calls to voicemail.

Have you checked if your phone service has got call forwarding set up so that all i/c calls are redirected?

It is a feature on most landline services. It can be set up and turned on and off by dialing a code from the phone.

Check your landline phone service provider's website about call redirection.

What happens when you call the landline's phone number from the landline phone itself, do you get the engaged signal or something else?

What is the model number of the phone?
