I haven't used my Kindle Fire in a month or two, but today I tried to turn it on. I held in the power button and some weird music played and a dead battery symbol showed up on the screen. I plugged it in. Now it has been charging for 2+ hours and it is still doing the same thing.
Please help! I feel like reading!

Likely this is just a very dead battery. One of my customers had to let her device charge for ovber 30 hours before it would even turn on. Please give it at least 24 hours on a known good charger to let it bring itself back up to snuff.

I seem to be having the same problem but it's daily for me now so I went out and bought a new charger thinking it was that but still nothing it's been on charge all night from 6 as that's when my daughter starts getting ready for
