Samsung galaxy Note 5 Charging port replacement
Can I install a charging port of a Samsung galaxy note 5 model: N920F on a model: N920P?
I would like to know if this would work.

Yes the port will work, however you will not be able to receive cell service due to different band support in different charging ports. It would be best to use the proper port for your device.

What if i use an entire Charging Port Flex Cable of an N920F on a N920P?
The entire cable is what I was referring to. If you are doing a micro soldering repair the physical USB ports are identical.

The charging port daughter board has two ribbon flex cables attached to it that go under the screen for the two touch sensitive buttons (Recent / back keys).
So you will need to replace the charging port via soldering + hot air rework station because trying to replace the port would require separating the LCD which is literally impossible without freeze / enclave machine (This tool is very expensive).
The best way to go about this is to take it to someone that does microsoldering / charging port replacements on these models as they would replace the charging port socket via soldering.
