LCD display discoloration and gap between housing and LCD glass
This damage happened during a recent move, and this gap and discoloration are confined to the corner, but my questions are
Can I use some tools (to keep it together) or glue to prevent further expansion of this gap (so far it didn't change in last three weeks)?
Does anybody has similar experience and how long did it take to get worse?

Please take a straight edged ruler and place it on the side if the case is the edge bent? The photos lead me to believe the corner was pushed out and someone replaced the display to cover up the damage (as it was broken)!

I added another picture (i apologize, it is not a straight-edged ruler, I will add another photo later today); it does look like the corner is bent. The iMac was packaged and shipped by UPS. They said that they would investigate the issue, but I haven't heard from them (it may take some time). The computer was purchased in February and never repaired.
