My Zte max blue shut off and won't turn on

My phone screen went black when I went to take a picture. No vibration no lights will not charge. It was at 82% when it shut off. I have tried charging from a computer tried holding both volume buttons for 30 seconds then the power button. Tried the down volume button and power button what should I do. Only had the phone a month. Was not dropped or did not get went.

Press and hold the up volume button and power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. That is proper way of performing a hard restart. If that doesn't work, then take it to your service provider. If the phone is only a month old the if should still be covered under manufacturer warranty.

Thanks for the attempted assist but this information isn't particularly helpful and also happens to be quite redundant given how many times it has been repeated both on this site and elsewhere. I have two zte blue max phones and both have done this same thing. One of them did it about a month ago and the other did it today. When I began fiddling with my newly malfunctioning phone it reacted similarly to the last one in that no resets, attempts to boot, and similarly futile actions all failed to produce a reaction. Out of curiosity and frustration I attempted to boot the phone that had failed a month prior. Surprisingly it was sluggish but booted successfully after a month of sitting in a drawer. Battery life was still up to 80% and it seems to work fine. The questions are what caused this, how can it be prevented, how did time stagnating change things and is there a way to solve the problem without waiting for so long?

I apologize if I have violated the etiquette of this forum as this is my first time here.
