Why is my screen black?

I slept with my phone charging on my desk (my desk is beside my bed btw) and a galss of water beside my phone.The next morning I found the water just spilled everywhere and my phone soaked,I turned it on and it work except that there were like lines but when I turned it off again it just didnt turn on ver since and since I was already late for school,I ran off and left my hone there (probably the most stupid choice) After school I checked my phone and it still didn't work,I tried putting it in rice for a few minutes but then thought tht it won't work so I just took it out,the next day I tried putting it in rice once again and took it out.The battery works I think,I hear the notification sounds and the vibrations and idk why but my phone just automatically takes a photo whenever I press the volume button even when its off (that always happens) and so I tried doing that and I still hear that sound that it makes whenever it takes a photo and the notfication sounds and the vibrations and my alarm,but the screean is just pitch black.What do I do?????Help.(pressing volume down and open button didn't work)
