Why did I loose Windows?
My computer shut down, when I try rebooting it, it says I need to reinstall Windows. I do not have the original CD for my computer. What can I do to get my computer back up and running?

You should restart the computer and enter BIOS/setup to check to see if the hard drive shows up in BIOS, if it does not show then the drive has either failed or needs to be removed and reinserted with its connector. If the drive is shown in BIOS then you can download a Rescue disk from Microsoft.com in Windows downloads.
