Apple logo boot loop

Hey,

Got a iPhone 7 that someone has asked me to look at.

It was dropped and resulted in a broken screen. Since then it's been showing the apple logo as a boot look.

3utools shows that the phone is turned on and running correctly.

I've flashed iOS onto it again and it's still the same.

I have tried a new screen, removed the rear camera, charging port and the front flex for the camera ect. It's still the same.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Could the battery cause this?

So we have iPhone 7s that detect on iTunes but stuck on Apple logo.

Unfortunately it's either audio ic or baseband going bad. Going to need to find someone that does microsoldering to fix this issue.

Medion iPad Rehab fixes these by the truckloads.

Hey Jaymie,

Check out Why is my iPhone 7 boot looping after a screen replacement?, this one, as well as that one. It sounds like some components may have become severely damaged from the fall. In both of the above cases, broken flex cables were the issues. Often, accidentally putting the short screw in the long hole or the long screw in the short hole cause damage to the logic board when installing new components. I would inspect the logic board closely to make sure no physical damage occured when the phone was dropped. In addition, I would check to rule out the potential screw problem, though it sounds unlikely in your case. If there is damage to the logic board, I would look into learning microsoldering, or contacting a company like iPad Rehab. They specialize in board level repairs on iPads & iPhones.

If you are interested in microsoldering, watch these videos, or these ones. Also, check out this guide.

Hope this helps,

-Tanner
