Samsung LN37A550P3F Multiple Power Cycles to Turn on

Hi All! I have a Samsung LN37A550P3F and as of recently, it has been having a hard time powering on. It goes through multiple power cycles with an odd looking pixelated screen between power cycles before it turns on successfully. It sometimes has loud screeching sounds coming out of the speaker too. I have attached a video of the power up here. Any advice on what part I may need to order and replace would be helpful!

Thanks!

Zane

Hi! Thanks for the response. I do have an electrical tester... A T5-1000. How should I test the boards?

Also, posting a closer look at the highlted part of the board . Looks light it might have been dust. The T-board is located under a plate. Safe for me to attempt the removal of this cover on it? Attaching photo of this too

Yes it should be safe to do so.

Ok added photos of the tcon

I don't see any obvious damage. I dusted it off a bit. But TV still does same thing in video. Also, now the video is going blank after a few minutes too. Still have sound though. Perhaps I try replacing the T con board?

Zane Williamson this could be a main board issue. Sometimes bad capacitors and/or bad power IC's can be the cause of this. You'd have to remove the back of the set and take a look at all the boards for obvious damage. Post some images of all of them with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide 在已经存在的问题里加入图片 for that. Of course, check all other inputs as well before taking it apart.

Update (03/18/2018)

Check the marked area for us. It looks like just some dust but just wanting to make sure. Nothing obvious at this time noted like you already mentioned. You are missing one board. The T-con board is not shown. Follow the wire going from CN1101 on the main board, it will terminate on the t-con board. Do you have a multimeter with which you can measure some voltages from the power board to the main board and possible from the main board to the t-con board?

Thank you for the response oldturkey03! I just attached three photos. I don't see any apparent damage on the boards. There was a bit of dust though. Removed most of the dust.
