Hello
I called "XXX" company to jump start my vehicle and the guy apparently reversed jumper cables before realizing they are supposed to be the other way around!
Currently, my speedometer is not working and other warning lights are showing up. Note that when I do the reset trick (by holding the trip reset button etc), the speedometer moves up then it goes down to zero again.
Any thoughts?

Unfortunately dc voltage can be very harmful when the polarity is reversed. I would try to disconnect the battery for a few minutes to see if it will reset. Your computer may have suffered a short from the power being reversed. The next question would be does the alternator appear to be charging because it is also controlled by the computer witch could explain why it was being jumped off to begin with. it is not uncommon for the computers
section responsible for controlling the alternator to burn out .

I have a 2006 (300) I had 2 replace the computer. However still having electrical so I replaced the battery everything seems to be working fine now. p.s. besure to purchase a factory replacement that matches the mfg requirements.
