Backllight doesn't work after Water damage

Hello, unfortunately the backlight of my MacBook Pro Retina 13" doesn't work anymore after a bottle opened in my bag. Through HDMI it works fine, and you can see the screen by holding my flashlight on the back through the apple logo.

Now its not the first time this happened. I actually already have an MacBook Air 13" 2013 with the exact same issue.

The new MacBook Pro was bought to replace the air. I still use the Air through HDMi only on a desk. Now that I already have 2 devices, with the same problem and I don't really want to pay 600 € or more to repair each one. I saw that the issue is most likely the the backlight Fuse. Now I wanted to ask if it is worth it, to try to repair them. I actually don't really have experience with this kind of things. I watched a few minutes of Youtube videos where it seemed to be quite an easy repair.

I would be able to buy a new fuse for 5$... Compared to the repair fee thats not much. Can anyone tell me what true risks there are and if you think I would be able to do such repair. I would also be ready to buy some equipment if necessary to help me do this the right way.

Deutsch ist übrigens auch in Ordnung ;)

It can't be just the fuse. Even if you replace the fuse usually the short circuit would still be there and it would blown the second you try to turn on the screen again.

You would need to check the whole backlight circuit, LVDS cable and connector for liquid damage / short circuit.
