If you have access to an external monitor, plug it into the vga port on the side of your laptop, then turn on the laptop. You should get a display on the external monitor. Please give this a shot, and let us know the result, we can go from there.
I attached mine to an external monitor and nothing, I did the take out the battery, hold power button, then try again, I tried multiple suggestions that I found on the net, nothing, the internal battery on this unit is only accessible through complete disassembly, I did not try.
Remove the big battery. (The tiny internal battery is for the time-of-day).
Plug in your charger. Which lights are on ?
Press Power ON and hold it ON for 40 seconds.
Didn't work ?
Unplug the charger. Wait a few. Plug the charger back in.
(the blue light should come on, indicating charger-power.)
Try the Hold-Power-ON again & again.
If that gets nowhere, the motherboard BIOS must be reset for further testing. Replacing the small button-battery will reset the motherboard back to factory defaults. Find a you-tube video that shows how to replace the toshiba battery. It's not that difficult. You can buy a premium battery at the
