Green screen on startup
Hi,
I had this MBP model A1211 but something happened. It turned green on screen and the Apple logo in purple / magenta when startup. does anyone know what is possibly goes wrong? is that software malfunction or hardware?

Sadly you're hitting the GPU failure this system is famous for.
Sorry time for a new system.

Don't you thing, there should be solution of this issue
Yes! Replacing the logic board. But this model is so old you just can't find a good one any more. In the end you'll pay more than getting a better used system.
The GPU part in no longer made and anything you find is junk
so sad..;( yeah..its really old machine. I thought i can rebuild it for my kids use.
