3DS game randomly cuts off

I'm having problems with one of my games. Quite often when I try to play it, it randomly cuts out and the system says the game card was removed. There is no visible damage on the card and it only seems to happen with this one game, all my other games run perfectly. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Clean the contacts with either a red rubber pencil eraser ( the abrasive kind) or a small stainless steel brush (very gently scrub the cartridge contacts as to not damage the cartridge) and afterwards take a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol and go over the contacts once again. If this doesn't work, you have a faulty cartridge.

Rubbing alcohol will cause the ID number on the back of the card to be erased. That will make the game completely unreadable.

My rep may not be as high as yours, but I want you to be aware of this. :)

I am aware of the ID number issue. You only want to take the alcohol to the contacts themselves and nothing more.

Oh oh, pick me!! Same exact thing happens with mine! This often happens to me. I haven't found a full solution, but at the moment, I have a clothing tag holding the game in the game slot. it seems that if you put it in the game slot alongside the game in the perfect position (very specific), then it will stay on longer. If you shift the position of the tag during gameplay, the game may freeze up and you will have to turn it off, so be cautious and save the game every so often. Please try this option until another choice is available!!
