having issues troubleshooting my repair on an xbox one x

Recently a friend gave me his xbox one s for free said he isn't sure whats wrong but figured I could possibly fix it. From what I understand at one point Iced Tea was spilt on it but it was not plugged in at the time so he took it completely apart and cleaned it all out and put it back and it worked fine for about a month until one day it turned off and wont turn back on, I took it back apart and cleaned it more and now I have it together and it wont turn on for me but the fan seems to kick on for about half a second and then turns off and that's the only real signs of life this thing is giving me. Any suggestions?
