Copy the data of an app on iOS

Hello everybody !

I have used for a long time the app "Flashcards +" by Chegg but I would like to take all the data of the flashcards that I have created on this application to export them into a text file that I need for a project.

So do you think that it could be possible ?

Thank you very much !

Melissa

(I have already try to reach out the staff of Chegg and they told me that they don't have this function for the moment)

Do you have a PC (Mac or Windows) which you have setup as the backup for your iOS device?

You'll need to ID the data part of the app from within the PC's copy. I suspect you'll need to talk with Chegg again to see if they are willing to tell you. Once you have the file identified make a copy of it as you don't want to damage the original.

Using a file editor you should be able to access your info. If the file is encrypted you'll have to wait until Chegg offers an export function.

You can use iFunbox to browse the part of the iPhone's raw file system that stores your flash card data and download it. However, I am not sure about the content of its data file. It may be in binary or it may contain some raw text. You can download it and view it in a text editor to see if it is readable.
