Sharp Aquos LC-46XD1E poer light blinks and won't turn on

My Sharp Aquos LC-46XD1E only wants to turn on every now and then.

Power light blinks green 2 times every second and every now and then the 'Sleep' and 'OPC' button blinks along.

I've tried reading through the other forums to fix this but it seems people have different models and thus their workarounds doesn't quite fix the problem with my model
