Phone carrier unlocking by replacing parts
Is it possible to replace a sprint locked carrier iPhone 4s parts from my other iPhone 4s that is gsm unlocked? If so, what part do I need to replace my locked phone with? (Ex. The antenna)
There is no hardware method of unlocking any iPhones. The carrier lock information is held by Apple, and that is one of the things that the phone checks for when you connect it to wifi to set it up. The only thing you could do here is swap the whole motherboard out with the unlocked one, which is quite tricky to do. Something you could try is a sim interceptor tool which will trick the phone into thinking it's unlocked, such as an r-sim. I tried one once and it worked for a while, but failed after a month, so you are taking your chances by using these.

Does my phone still work with a voip sim?
@xiangchen2 Which voip sim do you use? It should work, as it worked with mine on FreedomPop, which is also voip.
I have freedompop too
Unfortunately Sprint phones can't be unlocked as far as I've been able to tell. I have had success unlocking all phones but Sprint seems to not unlock theirs and make theirs to only work on Sprint

That may not be accurate.
Im Not positive, but in my experience with sprint I've run into this But if you call sprint directly they might be able to. Unless they've changed how they do it now. If they did I'm not sure. Now I know sprint will work with some of the non contract prepaid's like Boost mobile.
Have you just tried to unlock it via Ebay?

IF it doesn't work, Ebay policy can get your money back.
