Why is my laptop loading when I turn it on, but nothing else loading
My laptop loads when I turn it on, I log on to my desktop and then when I want to open anything it then freezes and will not allow me to do anything..?

@amykaren start by running an antivirus and anti-malware program. Let us know if you have tried to run it in safe mode and if that changed anything. We also would need to know what version your OS is (Windows?)

It is windows 8 i belive and how can I run a anti virus if it won't allow me to click anything?
You may have possibly corrupted your hard drive or RAM has been somehow shaken loose

What is it loading , the OS? Or is it updating ?

Not updating just open the normal screen, but then if I click internet it freezes or if I click Microsoft word it freezes
