Space bar lost "spring" after battery replacement.

I recently replaced the battery on my wife’s Late 2013 13” Retina as per iFixit instructions, all went smoothly. Only difference was that I used Acetone instead of the iFixit solutions as the kit is not available in Europe.

Starting after the replacement and gradually getting worse: the space bar has almost lost it’s spring/travel and now need some pressure to activate at all. Not good for typing. The cmd keys are also affected, but less so.

I wonder if the acetone has gone where it shouldn't, but find it hard to believe as it was over several days; acetone evaporates fast.

Any hint of how to fix this? Should a warning be added to the manual?

Thanks, Martin
