iPad mini touch not working, Touch IC problem?

I have an iPad mini with minor water damage. It turns on, but touch is not working all. Tried a few different digitizers, same result, no touch. The digitizer FPC connector on motherboard is in perfect condition. No pin missing. No corrosions found. The FPC connector is just perfect.

We know iPhones all have touch IC and controller. But how about iPad mini? Does iPad mini have touch IC on motherboard as well? Where can I find it?

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Many thanks for your revised answer. But no, it's not the one I am looking for. As I explained in my original post, I already tried a few new digitizer screens (all the screens I tried of cause come with the touch IC). As I said, all the screens I tried made no difference, no touch at all. So it's not the touch ic which comes with the screen that is faulty, it's the motherboard. But I don't know which IC on motherboard responsible for touch?

Do you have ZXW or schematic? the 820-3291-A is the actual Touch IC on the Flex.

and U1700 SLG5AP302 is the touch subsystem ic chip

Also

check for shorts on the row of caps at the FPC and the filters for continuity

and a few resistors that are not at the connector are (R1780) (R1750 - R1754)

C8238 (PP5V25_GRAPE)
