Fan is not working properly

Hi,

My laptops fan is on for 2 sec and off for 2 seconds and not running continuously which is driving me crazy as it make a lot of noise in a quite room. I have tried from bios setting but nothing happened.

Any suggestions?

Try changing to active cooling rather passive from the OS settings if it's CPU fan. Clear out dust from exhaust.

Open My Computer ----> Choose Computer TAB-----> go to Settings > then ------> system------> select power & Sleep -----> Then under related settings choose----> Additional settings-----There you would see Balanced ....high Performance etc..... on the right side click change plan settings ------> Then click change advance power settings.......scroll down to processor power management
